Sales Consultant – UK

GuestRevu is looking for a passionate Sales Consultant to join the growing sales team in the UK

The Sales Consultant is a critical member of the GuestRevu team. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting and closing new business in the hospitality sector to ensure you consistently meet your quarterly revenue goals. You must be a hunter by nature as you will need to generate new sales through your own research, as well as dealing with inbound company generated leads, and then reach out to decision makers. Once a prospect is identified, you will need to understand their needs to determine how the GuestRevu solution can address those needs and you will then be responsible for managing the sales cycle through to closure.

The role offers the flexibility of being home based so you will need to work independently and prioritise your own workload, but you may also need to travel from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Create a sales plan detailing how you will achieve your goals and then execute it
  • Be comfortable in prospecting and cold calling new potential customers and allocate 50% of your time to prospecting
  • Develop creative avenues to gain access to decision makers
  • Continually innovate and look for ways to improve lead generation and prospecting efforts
  • Meticulously manage prospect data using our CRM system
  • Deliver presentations and proposals which address client requirements to a high standard
  • Attend regular customer face to face meetings
  • Be confident when demonstrating the GuestRevu technology, either remotely or face to face
  • Understand and drive the sales process through to closure
  • Participate in tradeshows and other corporate promotional programs in support of sales prospecting efforts
  • Engage and communicate internally across all departments.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets

  • Previous experience with lead generation by cold calling prospects

  • Exceptional and innovative approaches to calling and emailing

  • Good knowledge of the hospitality industry and hotel software

  • Ideally, you’ll have a strong network of industry contacts

  • Strong team player that also excels as a high-performing individual contributor

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate and present at all organisational levels

  • Superb organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sales cycles at once

  • Educated to degree level
