Digital Content Marketing Specialist

Why we need you

We need someone to work closely with and assist our head of marketing in regularly communicating with our valued clients and spreading our message to the world.

Ideally, we are looking for an online marketing all-rounder who can write (blogs, emails, social media posts, and digital ads), and do some basic design (digital ads, social media graphics, infographics). If you can also do some basic video editing or you’re comfortable using HTML and CSS to spice up blog posts and help maintain our website that would be a plus, but is not a requirement. We need someone skilled and creative enough to produce striking content, and analytical enough to check results and make sure it’s actually working. 

More important than all of these details, though, is your passion and aspiration to be an amazing marketer, and an internal drive to never stop learning and improving.

Must have

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience in a related role
  • High level of computer literacy (you will need to quickly familiarise yourself with our CMS, task management application and Google Drive layout)
  • Passion and drive for marketing
  • Desire to keep learning
  • A great “can-do” attitude.

Bonus points for

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Graphic design education or experience
  • Video editing education or experience
  • Hotel industry education or experience
  • Previous experience in software or SaaS company
  • Previous experience in agency environment
  • Interest in product-led growth (PLG)
  • Being able to come to the Port Alfred office

Our survey software collects guests’ feedback about their stays and brings this information into the same dashboard to give hoteliers data to help them improve their guest experience, and highlight problem areas.
